 Bomkai Cotton Saree

The Bomkai saree (also called Sonepuri saree) originates from Bomkai village in Ganjam district, Odisha.

  Kotpad Cotton Saree

It is one of India’s oldest naturally dyed textile traditions, practiced by the Mirgan tribal weavers.

The term comes from the Malay-Indonesian word “mengikat”, meaning “to tie.

Appliqué Work

Rooted in the 12th century, Pipli appliqué work was developed to create ceremonial canopies, umbrellas, and banners for Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra in Puri.
